Next week excuses work well
I got a confession..
As everybody proably knows and since I bitch and moan like a little kid I thought I would share that I am a major sucker for the next week line.. I am a sales person born and bread however I was a sucker for the next week line... I fell hook and sinker..
Paid deposit early Feburuary told mid feb or late Feb. Sold my bike cause wanting the latest and greatest... Well mid Feb... Next week, End of Feb... Told next week Well told again today Next week.. All together told to many times to count. That line has worked so long on my dumb ass from keep from buying another bike.. Kawasaki you pulled it off!!!!!
Anyone else have a confession??

Don't feel bad I was fucked too, the Kawasuki rep at the big tent in Daytona told me by March the 15th in the showroom, so I went to the dealer and paided in full.
I have a right to bitch, either he lied or was lied too by kawasuki his employer, makes no difference at this time. Basically the riding season here is into the mid ninety degree days with high humidity, its sucks like kawasuki.

Yeah, I like to hang on to my money as long as I can. I've always paid cash for my toys though, I figure If I can't, I should probably not be buying it.
I've actually rolled the money I had sitting for the '14 into a money market account, only around 3%, but better than the .0000001% that banks pay! I can get it out with one phone call.

Yup. They have getting maximum milege of the next week line. I guess I am a victim for falling for that way too many times. Hope springs eternal.  It just frustrates the hell out of everyone that no one seems to know WTF is going on.  I would like to know if I can ride at all this spring or will it be summer before I get a bike. The Kawasaki US site now says Spring 06. The last day of spring is June 20th. Gives them a rather wide window for stringing people along and then saying, "See we delivered when we said". What a load of crap. If they would just come out and say the time frame I would be fine.

Wish they were telling me "next week".
We're still in a "next month" scenario in the UK.

Bob, I would guess that in a month or so, you will also be hearing "next week". I am through bitiching about it----it does no good and invites sacastic remarks from some of the board members.

Good post. 
My dealer showed me original information for germany, still saying end of april, maybe first week of may. But calling Kawa Germany directly, they say not before mid of may.

Well said Easy.....Sacastic remarks from the other members kind of sucks ... We are Americans !!!! and as an Americans we have the right to bitch if we want !!! Let us rant and rave all we want , it doesn't hurt you any and if it does don't read what we post....We will stop as soon as our zx14s show up and we will return to normal fun loving people that we really are.....

Yes i bet the zx14 will be awesome ...But lots of people got them ? I see 3 maybe 4 on the west coast got them ... One in TX got his....No body east of the Mississippi has gotten them as of yesterday( friday) ....I don't know what you think is a lot.... I understand not all the people that are going to buy a zx14 are members of this website so we really don't know the true number of people that have taken the zx14 home but it's not a lot by any means...All i can say is i want mine ASAP and with any luck i will have one in a fews weeks ....But it's doesn't not help us on the east cost to say there at the dealers and our dealers have no clue what they are talking about.... I have talked to 5 dealers on the west coast of FLA and all talked to Kawi by phone and no zx14s have been released from the Hotlanta warehouse in GA and have no date on their dealer website as to when they will be released .. So we wait and wait and wait...
