For those that could not wait....

... and are thinking of getting a Hayabusa, I'm so sorry. Please allow me to share with you a few quotes from Motor Cyclist magazine. I'm sure it's sister publication, Sport Rider will have similar comments.

In reference to the ZX-14's performance at the dragstrip in the hands of both amateurs AND "professionals"... "... consider the Hayabusa dethroned."

"Deep background, not-for-attribution sources put wet weight at 555 pounds: not quite 10 less then a '05 Hayabusa."

"Mr. Ninja rolls into fast corners much more readily than his ancestors - OR Suzuki's highly capable Hayabusa."

"And what of the Hayabusa? It will take some serious testing on our home court to settle the score. But right now, we're thinking Suzuki's meanest is starting to taste a little like chicken."

Oooooooo... that's gotta hurt.

Though comments of how the 14 was superior to it's predecessor, the 12R and it's sibling, the 10R, were often... this one pretty well summed it all up,

"Kawasaki has earned a reputation for building some of the fastest things on two wheels. That speed came at the expense of refinement, but not any more. From tip to tail, the ZX-14 seems as sophisticated and well finished as anything out there, and more so than most."

Good comments - sounds like we are in for a real killer bike. I wonder when my Motor Cyclist mag will arrive...?

...I just got mine yesterday!....my Motorcyclist mag, that is....(hi-jack on) and did any of you see that Magna-huffed/NOS'd VMax story in RoadBike mag?....now THAT'S wicked stuff from Colorado....I'd like to take that engine layout, add a chain-drive, add mini zoomies pipes out the side, and put that set up in a stretched fat rear-tired 'power-cruiser' type frame (hi-jack off)
