New Topics.....................
As some 'Easy' posted today, the endless debate when we might see the '14's is getting tired, so how about posting pictures of your other Toys.............cars, other bikes, planes, guns............you get the idea!

This is my daily driver, an '05 Altima with the 3.5 V-6 rated at 250 HP/249 ft.lbs of torque and a 5 speed auto....has manumatic shift feature. The Nissan 3.5 is a sweet engine, my car will turn low 6's 0 to 60 times........not bad for a basic family hauler!

This is my '90 Mazda Miata. Looks stock but I have upgraded the sway bars and shocks, added a header and cat back exhaust, Jackson Racing cold air induction, numerous frame bracing, stut tower brace and numerous other upgrades. Lots of fun on twisty back roads.

My '04 Suzuki SV 650, this is a great around town bike and also fun on the twistys, great handling, easy to toss around, really just a fun bike!

A couple of my hand guns. The top one is a Dan Wesson .44 mag with a 10" barrel, the one below is S&W 686 in .357 Mag.

One of these days I'll probably take my '14 to the track, but until then, these two are my track toys...
Don't have to worry about high-siding in a cage

Which 944 is that?............is it an 'S', non 'S' or a turbo? The red one is a 924? I do a little parking lot slalom with the Miata, great beating the higher horsepower cars (at least on the tight tracks!)

Guess it's good for the wifes boy friend you no longer own the Glock other hand guns! Gun ownership is a pain in Canada now with all the paper work required. At least Paul Martin is gone, so I don't have to worry about the hand gun ban he was promising in the last election.....................for awhile any way!

OK, one of our other hobbies besides motorcycles, collecting military vehicles:

Here is a cop staging a ticket for the photo-op when he pulled me over in my tank, a British Scorpion. Some kid stopped and told him he was VERY brave!

My wife's first piece of armor, a British Ferret Scout Car.

My wife's Fox and my Scorpion armored reconnaissance vehicles.

One of our amphibious vehicles, an Alvis Stalwart entering the water at speed.

Another one of our amphibians, an 8x8 Ford.

And lastly, my wife's amphibious USMC 6x6 Gama Goat.
I think the above guns mounted to the vehicles will suffice for the "guns" portion of the thread they are 30-mm (1.2") and 76-mm (3") for the Fox and Scorpion.

The Silver one is an '86 944 Turbo (extra kudos to anyone who can point out why it looks like an '87-89 model year), the red one is an '87 924S.
The 924S is my daily driver - over 220,000 miles and still running strong. The Turbo is currently in the garage with the head off and a bunch of new top-end goodies waiting to go in

Do you have the front end (bumper, lights grill) of the '87 to '89 944 on your '86 944? Do I win!

Not much worry about pissing me off unless you are a Microshaftee and even they would have to work at it. I'm just glad I'm not in some of your shoes with deposits on the 14. I'd be pretty angry at all of the delays. I'm goin' to wait and see one in person and sit on it before pullin' out the checkbook. Kawasaki's have always been my favorite but I don't miss the riding position of my '83 GPz1100 and '86 Ninja 1000 that I had back in the stone ages. I suspect the 14 will be a bit more comfortable for my 6' 2" frame than those were . . . otherwise, I'll just keep my knees at a 90 degree angle and straddle the 502's and drool at the passing 14's.

The ATF would have had kittens if I had imported them with live guns. They are cut to ATF requirements and are only dangerous if you hit your head on one. That doesn't mean you can't add an oxy/propane kit to them and at least make a LOT of noise.
My favorite to drive is the Scorpion tank, I've had it up to about 55mph and it was still pulling strong . . .

Nope, that's not it... front bumper never changed on the 944 Turbo from it's run from '86 through '89. The only thing different on the front of my Turbo is the extra intercooler ducts between the headlights - that's not a factory panel.
The difference is very subtle - only some pretty familiar with the 944 series would notice it. All 944's built in '86 and earlier had 23mm offset wheels, while '87 and newer have 52mm offset. The earlier 23mm cars had a relatively deep "dish" design wheel, the later 52mm car's wheels are have a relatively flat profile. My car is an early car with late offset suspension - the entire drivetrain and suspension (engine, LSD transaxle, brakes, rear subframe/suspension, front control arms/spindles) has been swapped from a donor '89 944 Turbo "S".
I know... nothing earth-shattering like driving around Redmond in a tank or armored troop carrier, but it does make the car a little more versatile on the track

When I spoke tro him yesterday, he still said yes. Said he got an e-mail from the Kawa rep last week and that it said that the 14's were in Vancouver and were being shipped out...he wasn't lying either...so we'll see in the next few days.

Always thought going in a F18 or similar jet as a passenger would be pretty cool. It would probably completely spoil you for anything else with the kind of performance they have.
