Keep in mind dub, fishy has already ridden the 14, unlike most of the rest of us. He's not waiting for a pre-ordered bike to arrive, nor is he even planning on replacing his current ride any time soon. He's doin' just fine ignoring the symantics of this whole situation

Wasn't the press intro for end of Feb?
Why would they bother to advertise that 40 guys, would get wined, dined, and have great things to say about it while CUSTOMERS wait.

Just the ones who are actually paying for the bike, were not there. And the bike is not here, so those of us who have shelled out cash, have never seen the mystical ZX-14.

Fish has been there too... times two.
He waited like the rest of the 12R owners when the "six week mystery delay" happened.

Did not mean to say you guys have not payed your cash---please do not take it that way. But, honestly, you and Mike are not "most of us". We are just the buying public who have no jobs that allow us to be on Kawasaki's "special person" list.

Easy... . you couldn't be farther from the truth... Mike and I are both 9-5er's... normal every day guys...
seriously ... (actually in my case it's more like 6 am to 8 pm) ...
That's what makes our reviews even more unique... we're not professional riders nor are we professional journalists... we're just the riding/ buying public.
Since you;ve just become a member, perhaps you didn't know that.
This site is a hobby for everyone involved (although I must admit for a hobby it's taking up way way more time than I had expected)

Gotcha---sorry for the misunderstanding. Youre right, I am new to the forum----been out of sportbikes since the sale of my 03 Busa. Got the Harley bug---bug has been squashed.
