I have this strange urge to build a relay board to independently fire off each of the lights. Since all four would be on when using high beams, would be ... different.

If the lights are NOT controlled by some sort of BCM, a single bosch style automotive relay will work...I agree, high and low beams together would be cool...if the alternator supports that load..(add about 6-8 amps)...or go HID and do the same thing, now that would be trick (and fucking expensive).

Simultaneous high and low beams when the highs are on is "standard" on the ZX-14... no special wiring or relays necessary....

I have no idea what swft was talking about in his quote. Maybe he wants some sort of UFO space-ship affect by firing each bulb in some sort of sequence or something?

Cheap soluition for HID's but they burn fast...I don't really agree on the HID's though, I have them in a few vehicles and I find they are way better than halogen. Had em on my Busa and they were awesome.

You had true HID's on your busa? Where did you put the ballast?

Our TSX has HID's and they are wonderful - way better low beams than any car I've ever owned, but we get lots of people flashing us thinking our high beams are on. They may be aimed a tad high, but I haven't altered them from factory.
