Happy April fools. Thanks Kawasaki!
Well, I done did it.
Paid for the bike in full.
$14,000 Canadian OTD, Gst not included.
Waiting for it to arrive.
Local dealers wanted :
2005 Gsxr1000= $13,000
2006 Gsxr1000= $14,000
2005 zx10r = $12000
Just could not justify paying those $ for other bikes.
Other bikes that would force me to sacrfice comfort, power, torque, and drivability.
Handling is lower on my list of priorities than comfort and power, cause the roads are pretty straight, and pretty rough around here.
I want a BULLET, and if it handles better than the busa to boot , then its a PLUS for me!
dealer still expecting bikes to arrive within next few weeks ?
Roads are full of sand, and salt still from winter, sooo no harm I guess.
Bought some new gear too.
Speed Ragz jacket, cause none of the others fit around my arms and chest without assistance with removal!!!
Why do gear companies think we are all horse jockeys?
xxl icon gloves, black rubitone mainframe helmet, icon backpack with helmet storage.
Pretty nice stuff really.
Pretty pumped.
Now that I have dove in head first with the big zzzzzx14 paid, Mr schnitz will be hearing from me too.
Guess the joke is on us eh Kawasaki!
Guess I am an April Fool!

Well, I was refering to all additional costs PDI, FRT, doc fees, tire tax etc.
The whole enchalada , less th Governments piece. Which is another 7%.
No provincial tax in Alberta.
Oh and the other prices I quoted were the same.

What color did you get? I went with the Blue.
The black seems to be the run away best seller.

blue.
Little more visible to the cages,
I have some tasteful custom idea's in mind to break up the huge front end. Front end looks really big in blue.
