multi-surface ride
...went to a tech seminar up in beautiful Julian yesterday morning...a whole bunch of KLR650-mounted enthusiasts showed...met a great bunch of people...ate one of the supplied donuts...did a required repair...had a free lunch...went on a ride up in the mountains and hills with the gurus and very talented riders...came close a couple of times, but never crashed...didn't even know that these beautiful roads and and challenging trails existed!...I took the long, scenic way back to my house...smooth, curvy, undulating, and mostly empty pavement...I was in a dream-like state  ...it was a long day, especially after working the night before and getting only a one hour nap before rolling out to Julian 1 1/2 hour away...what a fun time!...I wish I had some pics to show...I'll post it later...and how was your day?
