We've been in crisis drought for 4 months, this last week of heavy rain is welcome.

The west side hasn't had near the water as you're showing above in Daytona. We still have restrictions on watering the lawns because the reservoir is still at crisis levels

which is a good thing, the St. Johns river is very low. My dock on Lake George still had 3' of water under it during this drought, but the canal was impassable. Now the lake should be nice and high.

I lived in Daytona for 4.5 years and it did that a lot. With all that sand, most of the water was gone in a few hours. I don't miss Florida one bit. OH wait, Ted says I'm a poser, I take it back, I never lived in Florida.

The only thing DAYTONA is good for is bike weeks and putting our track bikes to good use Other than that I'm never even near that area of FL
