Green forum?
Not a rabid fan or a true 'greenie" at the moment and more interested in the spin offs and advancements in light weight material, aero improvements and so on since batteries are heavy and performance will be in the cross hairs have to make these battery bikes/hybrid light . Those material and applications advancements gonna happen!
Was flipping channels last night and watching supercars exposed did a blurb on a few current green cars Tesla? I do not recall the other companies but had a Cobra with a battery conversion 1000 ft lbs of tq!
Gotta think a quiet motorcycle ride has to be expierenced just one with some omph!
Motorcycz, electric dragbike, TTXGP etc the beginning is here..

Your thinking something like this http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/
Its a good start but not so good for us larger folks

I for one would LOVE an all electric commuter vehicle BUT they are just not cost effective enough
Well not YET

Took me until 2001 new bike releases before I would not be interested in buying something new every year my point being may take a five, ten years to make something interesting but i also think with oil prices and so in the spot light, investments going to accelerate the curve.
I'm more interested in what this segment will spin off and can use with gas engines but never know might change my mind
Many ideas/applications in other motor sports venues already out there one more is better!

sadly my experience with "green" forums has been pretty disappointing. I have yet to find a performance oriented one... visited the prius forums and got kicked off for talking about performance... sorry.
