How to properly measure yourself for a suit

Gimoto Canada provided this info. Notice how he says that sometimes a custom made suit is cheaper than a off the rack one! :

From looking at your height and weight, there is not a single off the rack suit that would fit you properly. Our Tour two piece suit starts at $1370 and does not include custom sizing, however, I will try to help where I can to meet your budget. Where we need to start is with your measurements, we can then forward the information to Italy for an exact quote on a custom two piece suit.

Kangaroo will be out of the question as most custom suits in your size will end up over $1800.00. The Tour suit in Black will work well with the ZX14, I would recommend arm venting and perhaps some perforation to deal with the high temperature, however, you have two options:

Perforation - Will require thermal underwear when it is cold No perforation - Take off the jacket and pants when you stop for a while (this is what I do - shorts under the leathers)

Once we have your measurements, the factory in Italy gets an exact cost. I can then do everything I can to try to meet your budget. Take a look at the attached files and try to get me your measurements. In the past we have been able to do custom suits for less than standard sizing, but it depends on several factors.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Just substitute "GiMoto" for any other brand of suit and these directions should be right on the money.
