Two Brothers too loud? Silence it!
Got my two brothers exhaust installed and wow, awesome sound! Too awesome, though. Was so loud I couldnt ride without earplugs. And it wakes up the entire neighborhood at 4:45am every morning! I finally bought the little aluminum "silencer" from them and installed it. Needless to say, I had no preconcieved notion it would work. Its just a con shaped 2" long aluminum piece, rated to reduce noise about 3 db.
Man does it make a difference! Not HUGE, but very noticeable. I never knew 3 db could be such a big drop in noise, or its underrated. either way it works well, very noticeable drop in sound with zero loss in HP. It does have a faint exhaust leak type sound to it, might just need the aluminum gasket to finish seating to clear it up. I'll see in a few days. But well worth the money, those guys should include it standard in every exhaust!

Yeah, I got a set for my RC51 pipes and my riding buddies are grateful. The silencers come out for track days, etc...

Who sell's this slincer? bc my zx14 is loud, but i dont need ear plugs , but the guys who ride behind me do

Google search Two Brothers Racing. Its a gold anadized aluminum that lso spices up the look of the carbon exhaust tips. installs in a few minutes. Good luck! And thank PK shes the one who told me about them. Smart chick! $70 or $80 I believe.
