whats the oil of choice
I have used almost every type of oil in the last 25 years of riding, Is it just me or do most people find it insane to spend 12 bucks on a quart of oil ? Does anyone have any thoughts on a good reasonable priced SG rated syn oil. I have seen a few chats about rotella oil in a wet cluctch bike but no where can i find it stated to be SG rated, Do alot of people use this oil. Thanks !

I guy gave me a gallon of Motul syn. man does that stuff smell good. he said it was $40/gal

MOTUL 5W-40 in my track bike!!!!!!!!!!!
Anything in my ZX14, the last oil change I did i used car Shell Rotunda 5W-40 synth

Went to Rotella...Cant beat the price and quaility $16.95 gallon at wally world...

i use Amsoil 10w 40 synthetic, great stuff

kawa chem.....its cheap and the Kawi dealer will never be able to argue if something happens in my bike.....but I change oil so often, that it wouldnt matter what oil I was using...it never gets more than 1000 miles on it....

its funny but my dealer said not to use synthetic in my 2008 R1. I thought "fack him", but my owner's manual also warns against it.

I bet your owners manual only warns that its wet clutch compatible. Ive never seen an owners manual warning against synthetic oil.

I bet your owners manual only warns that its wet clutch compatible. Ive never seen an owners manual warning against synthetic oil.
my owners manual clearly says don't use synthetic, along with a host of other codes on oil labels not to use.

Switched all 4 bikes to Rotella..Really like the stuff and well the price is hard to beat..
