So, with this rig, I could pack enough gas, oil, spare parts to make it no prob to AK. Biggest question is taking the dog with me. BTW Wormy, it does have heel and toe, so you could keep your boots shiny and clean. ____________

*grins* As long as the mosquitos don't fly over 49 mph!
And the rig is up to about $10K. It was cheaper back in the day, but it's greatly improved. The improvements are worth it.

I'd prolly have to take a sabbatical (sp?) from work, so no, not entirely serious. Then again, who knows? If Wormy buys one, he'll prolly want to go the other way, down south...That's it, we have a 'race to the poles'!! Guy going north has to get there, guy going south has to get to Tierra Del Fuego.

...as long as it'll 'eventually' do 65mph its ok by me...I don't imagine we'd want to ride faster than that on the AlCan, unless te bears run faster than that...but we'll bring the heavy caliber handguns just in case...and I'm guessing some motocross gear is in order to keep ourselves getting knocked out when the tankers go by at 70+, huh?...that flip-up Arai off-roader is a good candidate...I have everything except that...c'mon superlotto!...make this easier for me!!! ____________ “We sleep safe in our beds because rough men
