MAX MOANS TOO MUCH: Honda dumps 'complainer' Biaggi According to MCN, Honda has just dumped Biaggi, the triggering cause being sick of his complaints that of course have been going on for a long time (to say the least) but apparently reached fever pitch during a meeting with top Honda brass.
Honda was so pissed they even considered barring him from riding at Valencia, according to the article, but relented... however, no way will Biaggi ever ride Honda again, or at least so some at Honda say.
There had also been an idiotic stunt where Biaggi locked himself in his trailer and refused to ride, previously, as some sort of protest against Honda's "lack of progress" in addressing his complaints.
His pitiful finish in Turkey, so far behind teammate Hayden, also did not help his cause.
Since pretty much every manufacturer has their teams selected for 2006, Biaggi may be out in the cold, in the opinion of the article.
The only possible exception, according to the article, is that Camel, Biaggi's sponsor, still likes him and is pressuring for Honda to relent, saying that their cash should enable them to say what rider they want.
Overall my opinion is it's ridiculous both ways... Biaggi's behavior has been ridiculous over the years, but so is this response. There should be an intermediate step between being in good graces and being banned for life, such as telling the guy "Shut your fucking mouth and do not EVER complain in public or to the press or to any Honda executive about a Honda racebike again. Ever. Tell your crew chief and mechanics your negative opinions and complaints and no one else. You have run your mouth making Honda look bad way too much, there is zero further tolerance, you stop now and forever or you are out, simple enough. Be a professional."
That should have happened long ago, and if not, should have been the response now I would think rather than going straight to a lifetime ban. Of course, actually they should have told him to shut up with the complaints long ago. It would have been to both their benefit and his.

This is official news according to Italian press and its allready being broadcasted all over TV, radio and newspapers:
Su questa culo di moto non corro piu was the words Max used after his last race in Turkey (and his terrible finishing position) which means "I ain't running again with this shitbike", after finishing his sentence Max dropped the RCV in front of Honda people, this people passed the scene to Seguru Kanazawa (director of HRC) which in his turn showed Max the doorway informing him that Turkey was his last race with HRC.
Allthough you could speculate this is the end of the story...it still isn't according to the same sources (Italian press) Max has stated that this was his worst career time (Yeah right...) "This bike doesn't work as it should, i totally have no support from the company, the engineers do nothing for this bike". Plus he is allready seeking legal advice to press charges against Honda (!!!!??? woa...man you must have a very big selfesteem...).
Now the fun part is that according to speculations Biaggi has come to a deal with Camel Honda, but Seguru Kanazawa warned Pons team (Camel Honda) that there will not be a deal with Biaggi...they will not accept Biagi riding a Honda. More specific Seguru Kanazawa who usually makes nearly no press comments stated "La moto per Biaggi non c' e!" (La Repubblica newspaper) (meaning "There won't be a bike for Biaggi!"
Now Biaggi seems loosing his next motogp season since most of the teams have reached deals with old or new riders and have nearly filled all the available positions.

Gee, it's funny, the same bike did OK for Nicky (3rd place and less than seven seconds behind 1st) though ol' Max finished 12th and fifty seconds back.
Some "shitbike."
By saying Biaggi dropped the RCV in front of Honda people, you mean he deliberately dropped the bike on the ground?
On your pic: LOL!
Anyway, with regard to all the major teams having full rosters and Max therefore perhaps being out of a ride for next year, maybe two bite-the-hands-that-feed-them types can get together and Biaggi can ride for Kenny Roberts' team... oh that would be classic. I cannot even imagine the excuses and complaining then!

Max is a victim of what i call The Rossi Curse. anyone who tries to compete with him will necessarily succomb to it. look at Gibernau now, he's been crashing and running out of gas and churning up terrible results, despite his qualifying efforts. Rossi said at the beginning of the season that he wouldn't win a race this year, and he hasn't.
