The fire in Oliver is raising some concern for our Dakar ride. I am keeping a very close eye on things and have a possible back up plan. I will be looking at other possibilities as well. So far the ride will be ok as is. I will be at SBW a few days early and make any changes needed at that time.
Ticket sales are moving quickly so if ya want to go you better get on it!!
SEE YA THERE!!!

The Forest Service has posted the McKinney fire as 100% contained this morning. This is very good news for us. I will be able to run the original route that I had set out. A little rain between now and the 27th would be perfect to keep down the dust a little!!
See everyone there.

Hey Mustexcc, I still can't make it this year but will try again for next. Can you post a post-mortem here of how everything went after SBW is over?
