Fine Carbon Fiber Work - Suzuki 1K tail section subframe replacement
Thought you guys might appreciate this. My friend Paul at Taylor Made Racing in Van Nuys, CA is making a totally custom set of molds to make a complete tail section replacement out of carbon fiber for the Suzuki GSXR 1000. The tail section, including the subframe, weighs almost nothing and is incredibly rigid. Right now he's planning on selling some to the road racing set, but they might be customizable to street bikes as well. Never know what I'll find when I visit the shop. Took the photos below on my last visit.
As you can see, it is a three piece unit. Fit is really tight - almost factory even.

Nice. Wish he made one for the 01. Been looking for a cf subframe and thinking of contacting a bicycle cf frame builders . They can make a bicycle frame which will hold a 200lb rider, should be able to make one for a motorcycle. I seen one in TWO magazine a few months ago for Duhamels 600.

Not sure if he is going to produce it or not, so I have no pricing information at all.
The unit replaces both the subframe and the tail section.
