Question on suspension for 86 XL600R
Anyone out there know if the 86 XL600R & 86 XR600 have forks & shocks the same except for spring rates, valving, etc, and are the shocks rebuildable? I can take them to a suspension dealer of mine, but I figure there is a HUGE amount of accumulated knowledge here to draw from. My friend's brother just gave him the XL, & the suspension is absolute sh!t - caused me to crash it on the weekend - told him I wanted to trade back for my KLX400! So I did.
