V-strom 650? I'm still considering what bike I want to get if I decide to ride to AK. The 650 is supposed to be a sweet bike. I know my SV650 was a blast. Will have to get a test ride from the dealer I guess...

And considering that I'll be on pavement the whole way, I'll just trot out the ZZR1200 for the trip up. If you kids want to go off the beaten path, I'll just pull off and catch up on my reading while you play, and then be there with bandages and tools for repairs when you get back. ____________
