Pre-pro vs Prod ZX10R
What's the difference going to be between pre-production & production? I know what the semantics are, but ExtremeLean, what can you tell us about any differences?
I mean, you spend so much time on here keeping us all salivating with anticipation for your next "timed release", as well as keeping the facts straight, so can you let us know what "tweaks" are being done? I don't want to be disappointed as with the "delay" of the 12 when it came out.
and, yes, I really do bleed green.

remember the 8 balls that you can buy and ask questions...well, sorry-ask again another time.
Sorry....cant comment.
I dont think you will be disappointed....but disappointment is a personal feeling.

No probs - got the answer I expected. but hey, if you don't ask - you won't get it. As I mentioned, I'm sure you'll 'release' the info when the 'time' is right.
Thanks for responding.

I just want to know if the rumors of a 1 month delay on the 10R's release "month" from Dec. to Jan. are based in any "possible fact"?

I wouldnt expect to see the production version hit the floor til February.
The version you will see at the MC shows making the rounds is not the final product.

I'm more worried about the availability of the aftermarket goodies for the 10. I don't need a bike in January here in Michigan. However, I do need race bodywork and rearsets, etc. before the first track opens. As long as I can get the break in period behind me and dyno time finished I'll be good to go.

Ryan Schnitz just said on another board that it PROBABLY won't be on showroom floors until June! Remember the 12 was delayed a couple of months!! Let's hope it's sooner rather than later!!

I doubt June would be a release date.

December sounds better than February, but I am starting to lose faith in December. February sounds a LOT better than June. June would miss all of the good riding weather (in Texas). I apologize for not knowing who Ryan Schnitz is, but I sure hope fish antlers has better information.
