They might have a typo in their article. My understanding of the rules is that the same rider can't race Superbike (1000cc class) and Superstock (1000cc class). But Hayes could race Supersport (600cc class) and Superbike. Or he could race FX (600cc class) and Superbike. Strange rules.

Yep, that's right. Interesting how Kaw didn't think to offer that to EBoz as an option...Maybe there's more stuff behind the scenes.

You know, I wonder what was up with Eboz? He hinted last year that we might have a 1k ride the following year (this coming year) and everyone thought that was why we was sticking with Kawi. Interesting outcome.
Guess Eboz switched over 'cause he wanted to win for a change? (ouch)
Kiwisucky kills me sometimes. I mean, I just don't get running in MotoGP like they are unless some of that tech runs directly to their production bikes - but losing so badly doesn't do well for their reputation, methinks.

EL, I saw the pic. But considering just how far behind they are - It'll be friggin' amazing if KHI is even competitive this year.
Although I'll have to say at least they aren't having the types of issues Aprilia is having - now that's goin' down in flames!
