ZX10R

The word is the 10R is in the region of 185 PS with the ram air working. Take off 10 hp for the ram air and another 10 hp for transmission losses and you come to low 160's at the rear wheel. Pipe it and filter it with a bit more advance and you could be making 170 rwhp with 170 kilo dry weight. Slam it and stretch it too could be a match for a Busa or 12 on the strip. Wot you reckon guys? Keith

I'm still waiting to hear the MPH numbers. Even Dragbike.com only lists the ET (9.26) without the MPH.

Yea but look at the size of the rider...that bike is only going to work for people like AL.

Put a TFA member on it and I doubt itd break into the 13s

Damn..they come with MT slicks from the factory now?

I also heard they went 1 tooth down on the gearing. and come on doug he was just making a point that they were using an M/T MCR2... so there are some mod's that are not stock. Maybe stock motor but still very impressive to say the least!

"""Oh yeah, the new ZX10 that Chip Ellis was riding is a PreProduction model they say its 8-10 HP less than the Production model. But get this his best ET on 62" wheelbase bone stock with Muffler removed went 9.08@147mph

Its a slick...the fact that its DOT approved..and has a few dozen notches instead of tread doesnt change that for anyone except the lawmakers

The point is...that aint the tire it rolled off the factory line with.
