The numbers as reported on www.zx-10r.org were actually 9.23 and there is a photo of the right side of the bike showing the stock exhaust. It is reported to be at Rockingham. Obviously not the standard swingarm and the supplier of the photos says the photos are not photoshop specials.

"Ditto" Who is Chip?????

SWFT...I gotta agree with "Wind. There will be a TON of them at the strip. There are lots of Gix 1K's, 954's, R-!'s and Zx-9's at every track I go to.

I "might" be in the market for one for that exact purpose.

Just like one of my friends that has a 636, Lowered and without the front seat, it has dipped onto the 9's. Helluva 1/8 mile bike for sure. Kicks much ass on the street with it too.

maybe the reality of the situation is that the 10R will be good for and popular at the track, but undoubtedly it will lean more towards the canyon scraper crowd than the 12 did... by a long shot. whereas it seems half (im sure that's an exageration) the folks buyin the 12 were doing so for drag racing, the percentage will liekly be half of that for the 10. not cause the 10 aint a capable drag bike, just that its focus is much more street/roadrace. tho when the chips are down, i'll bet the 12 still ends up the big dog at the strip, along with the busa and the odd honda XX, jsut as it's now. seems to me the 10 will start off better, but will likely hit the ceiling before and faster than the 12.
