I think the casual sport bike riders will pick the Honda, because it should be a little softer focused and it is the closest think to Rossi's bike you can buy. Just like the 600RR was last year (yea, right). However, my pick for 2004 is the Green bike. I currently ride a '98 R1. Before '04 I would say that the ZX-9R was undoubtably the best "real world" bike of the sports bikes. It was an amazing over achiever. It just wasn't what I wanted.

The GSXR is gonna be the best streetbike, as compared to the others. It's a little bit bigger, easier to stretch out on compared to them.

I agree and it's seat is pretty good too.
Being 6'2" I tower over R1's and find the G1K fits much better and has decent wind protection.

Looks like Honda's going with it's patented "pine plank seat" on it's rr

The R1's clip-ons are 10mm higher and pegs are lower but it's still really tiny.

On another forum I visit one of the guys is a Aprilia freak. He's had like 7 of them. Say's his new '04 Mille Factory is very small in comparison to the previous model and that the '0.5 to '03 model years make a better real world bike. he's 6'1" and can only see 1/2 of the tach because the windscreen blocks the rest.

Get it right, they're not perrty they're PURDY!
