The latest info I have from KMC shows expected release in December. I would expect the bikes probably around mid to end of December if not begining of January

I got the same info from my dealer. They said that the official release is December, but they don't expect to receive any bikes until February.

My dealer also says Dec., but I think that they will start showing up in showrooms after the first of the year. First green one that shows up at my dealer... is mine.

Nope, swft. I'm gonna have to let her go. Either as a trade in or a private sale if someone is willing to pay more the what my salesman offers. I just recently checked the valves (within specs), compression (179-180 on all 4) and did a leak down test (8-8.5%). Not too shabby for a bike that is four years old and has close to 48,000 mileS> Probably the main reason I'm letting "her" go is that the extended warranty will expire next May. If anything was to "crap out" after that time, I doubt if I could afford it. I won't be putting any more money into my 12R. At the end of this year's riding season (likely in less then a month), I'll be changing many aspects of the bike back to the "stock" condition. Because of it's pretty good recent dyno numbers (182.3 HP & 95.2 ft/lbs), I've agreed with my salesman to leave some of the aftermarket items on the bike, when I trade it in.
The pipe, filters, Power Commander (w/custom prepared map), LP adjustable footpegs, ZG Double Bubble smoke tinted windscreen, -1 counter sprocket, +1 rear sprocket, Muzzy aluminium fan. Race Tech fork springs, and the 7R swingarm will stay with the bike. The OEM swingarm and related parts will go with the "deal" as well.
Some of the items that will NOT go with the bike are:
'03 seat (narrower than the stock '00 seat)
Muzzy steering damper
Muzzy ZZR braided S/S brake lines
Valentine One radar detector and remote units
DIGI digital gear indicator
Dino pipe hanger
Dino trunk hinge
NE Dyno O2 sensor gauge
UNGO alarm
Sigma Targa bicycle computer
...and a few other odds and ends I can't think of right now. Some of the items will go on the new ZX-10R and the parts that won't transfer, I'll sell or trade with anyone interested. My dealer and I have agreed to include with the 10R, a service manual, 4 year extension (instead of 3 additional years) on the OEM warranty and the cost of the Euro turn signals as part of the deal. I have about a year and a half left on the 12R's five year bank loan and will still over a year left on it by the time the 10R does arrive. I've already started working with a different bank on the new 5 year loan for the 10R. The best part is that my monthly payments of my new 10R will be equal to or less than my 12R.
I just hope they introduce the aftermarket items that I want to get first, soon after I get it (which I doubt) A steering damper and frame sliders are #1 and #2 on my list.Since I'll be breaking in the bike at the beginning of our next riding season, I'm not too worried about aftermarket engine and chassis stuff, yet. I'm not interested in a Power Commander until they introduce pipes (or slip ons) and filters for the 10R that ACTUALLY are proven to work.
