dino, it's only doubel lines to one caliper. rather than splitting the line higher up & run one to each calipre, they run the line straight to one calipre, then a second one from that calipre to the other. at least i _think_ that's what i see. i know i'v seen other bikes do that.

Thanks for the aweome pics Dave. A couple questions and observations. What is that funky thing protruding out the back above the license plate? Is that the light for it? What tires comes stock on it? Will, I, at 6'4" be rediculously uncomfortable on it? What was the MSRP on it?

An observation. Looking at that photo you took of the front, the 1st thing that poped in my head was SV650, anyone else?

The black is just stunning! I want one.
Thanks Dave!!!!

The white thing is the tail light, looks like red LED's under it. It's pretty sharp. The whole thing under it, signals, plate, and all, can be unscrewed and dropped off like the new ZX-6.

Dunlop 208's are on it, 190 rear.

We're about the same height, it feels small, really small.

I think the MSRP is 10,699.

But aren't the tires D218? At least thats what I'm seeing in those pictures... Maybe they have two kind of tires the new Bridgestones for some markets and Dunlops fo other. But definetely their not D208 as in the ZX 12 in the picture.

...since they're using new tooling for the body parts of tail section, it would've been so easy to intergrate flush amber turn sigs at the ends of each side and still maintain that sweet profile...but nooooooooo...the designers didn't talk to me, did they?.....I'm nobody.....and they could've also intergrated amber turn sig inside the new headlight at the upper corners of the lens (think DINO's headlight mod)...but noooooooooo....hey, let's use up all these circa 1980's lens first...and all these circa 1970s lens for the KLR, too...ok, I understand DOT mandates, but still...no balls, I tell ya'..... ...I can't afford to get this bike and already I'm picking it apart for certain asthetics...don't get me wrong...I absolutely want this bike and I'll probably get one one day...and the gage design is weak.....WEAK!...but I'm nobody, so it doesn't matter what I say or think...

Thanks for the report Dave. I was concerned about size since I heard it's basically smaller than a ZX-6R. Guess I should be.

...blue?...or "black?"...blue?...or "black"...where's the KRG (Kawasaki Racing Green)?...and it'd be awesome if they could resurrect a modern version of the 'bluish-green' color that came with the 1975 Z-1B....ahhhhhh...I'm dreamin'...need to attach DINO's #10 of 10 pipe hanger on something appropriate...

Seein' as how you get paid to "recreate possible problems" (read: trash stuff), I don't find your "safe and sound" very reassuring!

You should see all the sites that these photos are on now. Less than 24 hours later and they are literally around the world.

I have someone that linked to my site from Singapore, and took credit for the photos too. Just wait until I swap out the images with something a little more interesting and leave the links the same.

Would someone explain to me the double lines per caliper in the front?????
Also, the undertail looks different than the 6. I think I see a different contour, plus a different color (black) plastic towards the front of the U.T.
I was HOPING it would be like the 6 and z1000.....

I have a 97 Suzuki RGV 250SP, and the brakes are set up in the same way.

Looking at these pics I was wondering (Dave?) if the fuel tank is metal or plastic cover like the 12R with the real tank down low etc.? Any other interesting things you noticed Dave?
