ZX10R First Impressions

Seems as though KHI has indeed listened to many of our complaints and issues with the ZX12R... the fit and finish was definitely better than I had expected. Gone were the cheesy plastic Phillips fasteners. The deltabox type frame replaces what I had expected would be a frame similar to the 12's. Of course being able to look closely at it is one thing, but riding it is another. Unfortunately I didnt have the chance to do the latter.

Only time will tell as the liter class is going to be a hot one for 2004. The lack of specs for the ZX10R can most likely be attributed to KHI sharpening their pencils, dotting their i's and crossing their t's in hopes of avoiding a repeat performance of the 12 vs the busa debut...

...only this time they have to contend with Yamaha and Honda...

I would definitely disregard almost anything you read in the mags for the next couple of months until they journo's get their hands on actual production versions of these new rides...

..anything else is just posturing fer the cameras.

that's my report. I'd love to answer questions on this one but they'd have to kill me if I did

start saving yer pennies guys & gals!

I would wait for a UK rag's review of all four bikes at the same time.

The 1000rr is pretty trick looking in person. The red paint looks horrible though.
Judging from the flapper valve in the front.... I dont think it will make the hp the other 3 will. It will probably score well in multiple categories.
