HELP (oil)

I recently bought some oil for my ZX10. The guy at the counter told me I could use Castrol POWER RS TTS 2T full synthetic. I have always takin it to a dealer to have it serviced, and due to lower income and two children I have started doing it myself and thought something was wrong when I notice the guy at the dealer had me buy this oil that is for a 2 stroke and I know I have a 4 stroke. I just need to know if the oil will mess up my bike or if is ok. If you know I would ask if you comment please.

yea, I did that over the weekend. I was trying to get an answer while waiting for the dealer to open on Tuesaday. The guys at autozone were more then happy to help. It just nice to see that I can go to you guys for help, even though you had to be an ass about it. My problem now is after changing the battery, oil change, Break job, and chain, I can not get my power to come on. I was hoping someone could help me. And yes the last question was, you know. But you dont find out without asking.

The real deal is that the 2 stroke oil has a much different makeup, no wear inhibitors etc. Because it is a total loss oil. It will lube but it is not tolerant of dirt etc and would only last a few miles before breaking down.
As for your no power issue.
1. Even though it is a new battery, make sure it is charged. The following is assuming a fully charged battery.
2. Check your battery cables.
3. Check your fuses.
4. Does anything happen when you turn on the key. Brake lights, horn, Speedo/Tach etc???
5. If not it has to be a fuse, cable, or even the starter relay.
6. If you do have other power, and it wont crank, check the run switch on the throttle housing.
That should keep you busy.
