Why ask what you should buy or not buy? Everyone knows whom you wish you could be and a 10R isn't going to make you be that. Come on there can be but one that walks on water and that position is taken.

No. Put the money towards the purchase of a Canon EOS 1D and take pictures of your friends busting by you on one. Then photoshop a picture of yourself on their bike and you'll be laughing yourself silly.

You know what I'm talking about. There is only one and you're not him, and no 10R or any other will change that fact. Just let it go and embrace being less than he. The rest of the world had to and now you must. He takes what he wants and leaves the rest behind. Give it up and head on down to Hastings Street and wash away your pain.

I think you should go to this link and make a special video with your question. Just whatever you do "Do not play this vid" or you may end up with a S1000R

He'll,l why not??! I would but I just sold my 05' ZX10R and bought 2 brand bikes in April!.... 2009 ZX14 and a 2009 ZX10R! If it hadn't been for that I think the 2011 ZX10R alone would be enough for me! Nothing like getting a brand new bike and break'n it in then put fresh fluids in it and take it to an open track and find out what she has! A couple ass eating the seat moments without the crash to put the biggest smile you every had on your face and the respect back in your heart. Get what you want and enjoy life man! I like the BMW S1000RR but I love the ZX10R!! Hell I love the GSXR 1k also and think they will more than likely have something up their sleeve for 2012. Especially since BMW put it out there that they used a GSXR 1K as a tool for design! That was a slap in the face!...LMAO. The only thing I've been patiently waiting on with Kawasaki is for them to make the clutch baskets and crank shafts lighter and stronger! Not just one or two ounces when I'm damn sure they already know just how light they can make it and just aren't. That's when I'm buying another new ZX10R! If you have the cash and that's what's gett'n your attention I'm sure its not going to disappoint you! The aftermarket will have an inexpensive solution for the soft limiter issue. Brand new Kawasaki's are like having asthma with those stock exhaust systems still intact. Let it breathe with an aftermarket exhaust system and a part to remove the soft limiter and its a BEAST! You get the midrange the Suzuki has to go along with the top end that's already there! Suzuki has low and midrange torque but notice how they tried to fall in line behind Kawasaki by moving the power up top. As did BMW with their first intro to the supersport world.... GET IT!

I ride with a few guys that mostly do track days who ride the 848, 1098 and the 1198's. They prefer the 848 on the track because the bigger Ducks have too much power for the track. Very good bikes and one of them bought his and added the exhaust and chip. I rode the thing and its a wild ride man!... Torque and power for days! Kinda wonder why one of the 1098 riders sold his and bought the 2009 CBR1000RR (haven't ridden one yet)..??. I'm currently looking for my son an RC51 for his 16th B-Day/Christmas present. But there is no comparison in the quality of ride between the Honda and Ducati though... Not even the exhaust note! That Duck is like its on steroids compared to the RC51. The Beemer... I'm still not sold on buying one.

ridden both those bikes and was at the press launch at laguna seca for the honda. I have a 1098 in my garage. Honda is amazing bike but the Ducati feels alive - mechanical - raw... it's cool.
