I am buying a new bike in 2 weeks and your review may have heavy input!
I'm a little less fortunate in the weather dept. but find ways around it.... LOL
My new toy, had it for a few weeks now but this was second real good ride on it.

150HP and 420lbs, 100 mph in 1/8 th mile with the skii's off the entire length! LOL
Yeah it aint no bike, but at least i don't spend my life on line as a professional bench racer in winter months...

Congrats and good color choice! I usually like the black colors best I think the green looks best on this new 10r. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one too. Found local stealer that will do $11,000 otd. ttt Not bad around this neck of the woods. Gonna ride one over at BikeWeek next week and see what I think first.

Hell I didn't buy the thing.... I just parked my ass on the first one in town... Sorry if it seemed that way,, BUT I will give some compares already to my 05.. It feels heavy compared to the 05.  The seat area seems a little wider in the beam. It will make a nice bike BUT like all others it will require a lot of work. I'm going to watch and read for a little while before I jump in and buy one..

I doubt ya get your money worth by buying one ..not when ya already own a 05...and all tha work and money ya have in your 05....
unless you have money to burn..I don't see it worthwhile....

Kinda what I'm thinking, BUT I like to have two bikes at a time.. From time to time I need a spare.. But two 10Rs may not be the ticket... And I love my 05

the quad will out accellerate raptor 660's, 87 HP, does 70 mph, 4x4, 28x12 rubber and that was over 4 feet of water I was wheelieng in,
The truck weighs 8800 lbs and likes mustangs for breakfast and camaro's for lunch.
The 14 will absolutely embarass your little bike from 0-190mph, you'll think your riding the girlfriends 600 next to that thing, and it will hang well enough in corners to blast you on the next straight too..
The CR500af, well Honda didn't build that bike, I did!
The motor is worlds better and faster than stock too.
More ridaeable with more power everywhere, I had to gear it to the moon, 105 MPH just so it would hook up.
My friends who have ridden it compared the power to a 600CBR with MUCH MORE torque but on dirt! LOL
in one word..... Brutal!
Now if ya don't mind I'm going to polish one of my turds, before my ride tomorrow....

Well in a week I'll get the chance to see how one stacks up against my POS 05 model..... I suspect that mean ass bitch 05 sitting in my garage will do very well..

No Steve it was raining....But there has been one on the same dyno as my bike was pulled on.. It made something like 165 or 167 BONE STOCK with 200 miles on it.. Yea it looks like the motor is ALL KAWASAKI!! Check with Zack or Dan for those exact numbers but I'm fairly sure that's what Zack told me ...

I saw Lee run his black one at the drag strip it was beautiful and a beast (when he managed to keep the front down). It is black and it did NOT have the praying mantis appearance of the green one so many dislike
