Electric problem ??
Hello !
I have a zx10r the european model that I obtain for 2 years ago.
And the bike is stored in a hangar over the winter and sometime under januray we had some visistors there
that was trying to steal some of the bikes...lucky or unlycky but they the fucked up 3 bikes ours bikes.
Because they have demolish my ignition switch I had to look for a new one and when I called the insurance company
they sad that I was laboured to pay them 3.700$ for excess insurance.
Instead for paying the insurance company this money. A friend to me give me a name of a store in the state that may have a
new ignition switch for only 200$ =)
How can I say no to a great deal like that.
Yeah, a couple days later I purchase it and when I was in action to install the new ignition switch it didn`t match ?? so I call
the store back for some mechanic hints, and he told me that i presumably need a new ECU also because the european models have the
immobilizer and that dosent the US models have...ghhaaa !! FUCK !! =(
Okey, so some days later he also send me a new ECU for 220$ He told me that it was from the same bike that my new ignition comes from
So ok, I install that to it was a easy work. But the engine dosent start yet !?!?
So my question is, the to two red cabels for the immobilizer antenn what should i do with these because the new US!! ignition dosent have these ??
I have tryed to come up with a solution but I think that my only choice
is to contact the insurance comp. and payed them what they want and yest let them fix it for me.
Best regards Dabbe

Umm translated: I stole a ZX-10 and cant get it running with the new (non euro to get around the immobilizer) ignition and computer. Those damn Europeans outsmarted me so I'm asking one of the experts at Bikeland for a way around the anti theft device.
That about sum it up?
