Have you sat on one? I'm 5'10" and it's feels OK, but certainly not roomy.

You'll look like a circus clown on a trike, other then that... Kinda reminds me of a college buddy that seriously must have weighed 400 lbs. dude absolutly had to have a CBR900RR when it came out. Watching him shoe-horn himself onto that bike just did'nt seem right; could just imagine the reaction of a Japanese engineer charged with shaving grams off bolts squash his magnificent flyweight creation. Long story short, go with what makes you happy. Over half the joy of motorcycle ownership is spent thinking about or ogling your baby anyway.

He's 6'6'' and a thin build, probably flexible so he might be OK.
I would suggest going to your local dealer and sitting on one and if you can get a test ride even better.

Rear set might lower foot pegs for a better fit? Gen mar or heli bars might also assist for better fit...worth looking into..

I got a 12 but plan on getting an 08 10r or 6r for the twisties. I love my 12 but its a bit heavy for the twisties. At the same time i am not a very experienced rider but i do ok. i weigh about 170 and i do believe a lighter bike would help me out alot on the curves. I do know the 10's brakes doesnt come close to my 12's which makes sense due to the weight difference but i have ridden both and they made the 12 brakes extra sensitive with 6 piston calipers at least on my 02 zx12. Now the only decision is will it be a 600 or a 1000. Anyone with opinions about the zx6 as compared to the zx10 for the twisties?

Leave the 6oo for the ladies All BS aside the 6 is fairly gutless unless it's completely twisted to the far side of the tach.. Not a great street bike because it's impossible to keep it there, BUT a good track bike because it's very possible to keep it there..
