exhaust question

sorry to post again but i was curious...i have a D&D exhaust slip on my Zx10...notice a bit of doggyness in the lower gears.....think i need a power commander to help balance the air / fuel mixture... would anyone recommend that? or would a different pipe suite that bike better...im new to all this, i want good sound, but i want something that doesnt hurt my motor in anyway.

great. i love the sound of D&D... i'll look into picking a power commander up for it, hopefully for cheaper than ive seen lately.

You will gain with a power commander...at least a few hp . I would say about 6-9 with slip on ..but that depends also on a good dyno tuning session to go with it .. thats another $300.00 for the dyno tune...
