I'm going to start racing in the WSMC club and I was wondering if any knows what, how or any suggestion on safety wire?

The best thing to do is consult with the WSMC Cheif Tech Inspector. What might pass in CCS or CMRA, might not float in WSMC. Asking someone who races in WSMC might be a good place to start, but odds are, the Tech guy has sent them back to redo it at least once (if not a bunch of times) last season. The buck will ALWAYS stop with the guys in Tech. Your not getting on the track without their OK.
Don't be afraid to ask them, if your a newbie. READ the rulebook first, before you talk to Tech. Though I have never seen the grumpiest of Tech Inspectors turn away an honest question or not offer advice on drilling bolts and such, the do tend to get pissed if you haven't even looked in the rulebook.
As much as one hates having to go through Tech a second time, they don't enjoy having to go over your stuff a second time, either.... in most cases.
BTW - you can get your safety wire and pliers at Harbor Freight. The pliers aren't the greatest, but they work just about as good as any from places like LP. For the most part, the safety wire is the same anywhere you get it. We prefer the thinner gauge for almost all applications.

Their website has the details.

Page 21 (23). As to how, you can write a book on technique. I'm sure someone has.

Get good saftey wire. I got my pliers from Harbor freight too. But tthe wire sucked. Moose racing has good wire that never breaks when installing. It will save alot of time and headache with good wire. Also on race day when you need to changes tires and/or pads fast. Just a warning: WSMC has a seperate tech line for the novice racers and new racer schools, they take a closer look at those bikes. Here is a quik way of wiring for WSMC 1. look at the motor, any bolt with a copper or alum washer gets a hole. 2. brakes: everything gets a hole. 3. hose clamps get a hole. If you get to the track and find something with out a hole that needs one, just put a glob of high heat RTV on it and they will usually let it slide for a weekend. But make sure it's on there before you take it to tech because if they find it they will tell you to wire it.

I recommend getting replacement bolts for nearly everything you'd wire - axle pinch bolts, caliper bolts, drain plug, etc.
McMaster-Carr will have just about everything but the drain plug. The caliper bolts I bought were steel, I could get everything else in stainless.
It's easier to drill when you have the bolts off the bike, and it's easier to drill when you have spares.

When you take the bolts off that need safety wire, take them to a local Wire EDM shop. They will have a device called a "Hole Popper". They can put any size hole that you want in then, Usually .040 for .025 wire It only takes a couple of seconds a bolt plus set up maybe 3 minutes each. MUCH easier than drilling at an angle. Don't let them tell you it took longer or they are milk'in ya.

+1
And I hosed up a couple along the way on my drill press, I appreciated that same advice someone gave me before I started.

Oh and CCS isn't strict on what size safety wire, I pointed out to the tech inspector that I wasn't sure what size and had two different sizes on my bike and he said thats ok.
BUT FAIR WARNING ON K & M oil filters with the safety wire hole built in!!!! You still must have the entire filter strapped for CCS (and I was told others too by the tech inspector) because the safety wire feature has proven to fail.
