520 Convertion Kits???
I'm looking for a 520 Kit for my 05, but when I go to buy one I'm not sure what size (teeth) to get for the front and the rear. I do allot of track days and going to start racing soon, but I was woundering if there was some kind of formula for these kits. Looking for more acceleration.

1 tooth in the front is roughly equivalent to 3 teeth in the rear.
Most riders will start with 1 tooth down in the front because it's the easiest one.
If you're changing eveything for the conversion add the 2-3 teeth in the rear that you would have gained from -1 in the front and you'll still have the option of dropping one in the front later.
A DID ERV3 chain and AFAM sprockets will last you years, don't be tempted to save on hardware, you'll just end up spending twice.

Damn I have a DID ERV2 525 on my 10R and it tries to stretch it off every ride. NOT saying the chain is junk cause it's not. Just that the 10R has BIG BALLS. I don't think I want a 520 anymore broken cases aren't what I call fun.

Is it the real 525 "gold" chain?
