I think we're all jealous, I know I am. That's some beautiful vehicles you got there. Nice!

Ted.. Did the Brembo help with the feel of your 10's brakes?? What type of braided lines are you running there.
Have you ridden a 14 yet and how did you like the brakes if so?

The Brembo made the brakes feel amazing. The lines I believe are Galfer. I forget.
I have not ridden the 14 yet.

What do you mean? I gave the 12 that wheel treatment in 2000, they too started out black and ugly. The aluminum edges and the colored centers change the whole attitude of the bike. Looks much lighter and cleaner.

i mean to be scarcastic in that you replacated the 12 with the 10 and the same changes and although they are an improvement over the dark dull grayish color it would have been nice to see somethin diff, maybe BLOO like some old guy in town..:-)

I have been up that way a few times, my sister lives in Sac. I remember a Hwy that led up to Tahoe. It is a real nice twisty, I think It was Mt Rose hwy or something like that? The Wife (Girlee) and I are starting to plan a "ride the best of the west" road trip vacation; the other was the hwy on the west slope that leads down to Yosemite in Ca.

I love Mt. Rose when you can catch it with low traffic. Bumpy, twisty, steep. Another good one to Tahoe is Kingsbury Grade, with no traffic or cops it is smokin fast. One can burn off a set of tires very quickly on that road.

Monitor Pass should not be passed up so add it to your list tool man. I shy away from Mt Rose due to the traffic and inablility to really get a decent rythum going. As Ted mentioned Kingsbury is sweet as is Spooner/Hwy50 over to Tahoe but its patrolled a bit so ya take your chances.
