yosh vs Akrap

Just purchased 06 zx10. Im tired of rolling quiet storm. Looking to upgrade pipes. Slip on yosh or akrap were the two I narrowed it down to. Looking for feedback and recomendations. Thanks in advance!

The prices I got from a local dealer were 829 for carbon ysh and 900 for the ak. Not really a big dif as far as price is concerned

$800-900 FOR A SLIP-ON? OMG

You better shop around. You can get a full pipe for less than that.

100% agree++

Want great looks , great sound and great price? get a Muzzy full system.. Ryan schnitz pro dragracers choice ; he got the 04 ZX-10R into the 8"s in the 1/4 mile.. broke records with this system.. does as good as any pipe out there in terms as performance...

I have the oval stainless.. shines great and it only cost me $800 - $ 900..very tunable with PCBIII and custom map...

spend more if you must but you have an affordable quality product with Muzzy full systems...

why pay more.?

Have fun...no way a guy should pay that much for a slip - on.

peace.

$900 for a slip on? WTF??!?!?! Is that Canadian? Pesos? Yen? Oh, wait. That would be installed? $700/hour sounds about right. Which Kawasaki Genuine Ass Rapist gave you that quote?

Jim that's about right for the 06 10R... They have those screwed up under seat pipes.. I have seen better deals at places like ZX-10R.net on some used stuff and even a full system or two for that price..

I went with Akrap. I don't like Yosh it's more of a Suzuki pipe. I like want the race teams use because the two partner up to get the best proformance out of the pipes.

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Looks like problems might just be solved. Two Bros makes a dual slip on now for the 06 10. Looks good and decent price too. Anyone have it on dyno yet?

Dont waste your time with a slip on, save your pennies and buy a full system. Slip on will do very little for your performance though they sound better. You have to remeber that the cat/converters are in the collectors, removing those is where the performance is. I have a full race system from Arata and I love it. Believe it or not they are not to loud except when you really get into it.

I spent the last year searching for an exhaust for my zx10 06 that I thought was sexy enough and couldnt find so in the end I bit the bullet and had one made. Original headers with cats knocked out and single titanium growler can. it looks 10000% better than original and lifts the front wheel even quicker than b4! Gotta get it dyno'd with the power commander and tre fitted. I would expect several more horses but to be honest it just looks quicker!

The picture

These bike look good and probably weight less. Performance will be good too I suppose.

But sound will be loud I presume. Did you test it on dyno ????????

Nice work Sir. You listening KHI? This is the length to which people will go to unwind that turd you slapped on the 06. At least you made the wheels the color of human fecal matter to make it blend in.
