Sidewinder Tri metal sprockets?
The Tri metal sprockets looks promising with the best of both worlds. Aluminum on the inside using metal for the teeth. They claim that they have a lifetime warranty. How does this warranty work? You think they will keep on giving me new sprockets everytime I change the chain. They would probably deny the wear and tear if it does'nt look obvious. I know that I can't be combining new chain with a little wornout sprockets. Has anyone ever tried this product?

Spensive though.
I haven't seen/read anything yet that indicates the extra $ are worth it though.

If this is the last sprocket that I'm buying for the life of my bike it will be worth it. I'll give them a call.

I have one for the crf 450 and it works great because its stronger than alum. and doesn't bend when I hit rocks off road. But its heavier, so for the zx10 I use Renthal because I don't have to worry about bending them. I also purchased their expensive chain(520) for my zx6r and it stretched fast so I went to DID and like it better.

What's up with their lifetime warranty?

Why not get a cheap Sprocket Specialists unanodized aluminum sprocket. If you take good care of the drive train by keeping the chain loose and lubed, your sprocket will outlast the chain. Getting a steel rear sprocket is like putting bandaids on cancer. You seriously fucking something up if you have sprocket wear issues.

an old stretched chain will fuck sprockets in no time, and vice versa.
all new all at once.
They wear together, keep it lubed, and adjusted.
