Too much oil will cost you horses!

I was hanging out at the dyno last week and this 05' 10R put out 105 rwhp! The tech freaked out. He did'nt know what the hell was going on. He stopped the dyno and looked at the sight glass for the oil. Apparently the oil change was done by the owner. He said he removed the oil filter and replaced it. He was stupid enough to add oil without draining the engine. It was 3 quarts over.....WTF? lol

I have done that myself (not 3 quarts over though) and others have too.

The crank spinning in oil is just like you running through water.
