Anyone painted or powdercoated their wheels?
First of all, I've run a search and couldn't find many examples, so I'm posting.
I have a 2005 Magna Red ZX-10R, and put some dumba$$ scratches (small, but scratches nonetheless) in the front wheel. It's kicked me into considering powder-coating them to match the magna red factory paint.
Has anyone done this? Just looking for some examples out there.
At best, the local powdercoating shop here in Wichita, KS could do both wheels for a best price of $255, depending on if they can get that in a 5 pound supply. If not, it'll cost a LOT more.
TIA.

Just look at my bike on the front titled "my ZX10R" I got mine powder coated "candy blue" here in Temecula, CA. The powder coating cost $95 per rim for candy paint, and $75 per rim for regular paint. The colors here are endless. Try to contact them, and see if they would do shipping. Here you go "Temecula Powdercoating" 951 699 8685. They are robbing you for $255. I can get your rims chromed for $300.

If you have the wheels painted then you also save the cose of replacing all 5 bearings as well.
Mine are powder coated gloss black cuz that's the way I felt they shoulda come anyway.

I stripped the edges and painted the centers with the Color rite matching green. I get complements by the dozens. Changed the whole look of the bike.

I did mine. It would run you $75-95 a wheel depending on the finish. This is around Temecula California 92591 area.
