got a problem
rode to the store today, everything was fine and when i leave the store i come out and start the bike and it wont start. It would crank but wouldnt turn over and then i realized the FI light was on so i broke out the tool kit and checked all the fuses and all were fine, that didn work so i loosen up the tank and lift it so i could slightly get to the injectors to see if maybe a wire was loose or something, and there was nothing. So i am about to call a friend with a truck but before i did, i tried to start it one more time and it started right up, but the FI light still went on and off though. I ride around a lil, come home and let it cool down before puttin her away and i go to start it and i get the same thing happening again. Can you guys help me out or give me some suggestion on would could be wrong. Also bike only has 600 or so miles on it and i just had the 500m service done last week. Before i bring it back to Kawi i was hoping someone here would know what to do so i dont have to deal with them. Really appreciate fellas

You could try checking the harness where it runs along the subframe (by the seat/side panels), as this has been known to wear against the frame and cause a short. This can blow the main fuse under the seat apparently. My dealer made sure there was some foam between the 2 when it was serviced, as a friend of mine had problems with this.
This is for the 2004/5 model, so if its an 06 it may be something else. Worth checking though!
