I have at the moment a GSXR1000 year 2002 (some cheap moods, epoxi ported head, power commander and slip on, +2 on the back) and a zx12 fully mooded (except big bore).

I was thinking of selling both bikes, and gettind a lighter bike and fast bike.

I have 2 options
K6 or a zx10r 2006.

K6, Parts in Dominican Republic, I already know the bike, responds well to moods (full exaust and PC3), comfortable.

zx10r 2006, not so many parts, dont know the bike, I will be the 1st with one of those bikes, Dont know how they respond to moods.

Many things in my mind, by October I have to make a desicion.

Im a kawasaky hard core fan (for me 2 brands exist Kawa and Suzuki only other is crap)
But the suzuki is very nice.

Recomendations

I really like my '05 zx10r. I have never owned a Suzuki but have heard good and bad about them. I don't think that you could go wrong with either one it just depends on your personal preference.

If you enjoy the midrange punch of your 02 gixx and the 12, get the K6. If you like a wicked top-end hit, get the Kawk.

I have rode both the 06gixxer and the 06-10 and I have to tell you the kawk is a more comfrotable bike

He speaks truth. The K6 has a board for a seat. Quite a step backward from the 02 gixxer and my 04 10R.

I honestly would say just keep your bike if its paid for. The only reason why I got a 10R is because of price. I was really shooting for the CBR 1000. Brand loyalty is not a big thing. I got my 05 10R for 9400 OTD vice to 11000 OTD for the Honda. The "hype" will never stop. Its like buying a brand new computer, it gets outdated after you bring it home. The difference with liter bikes is you have a year or two before the lastest hype comes out. The 02 Gixxer is still a badass bike. A new liter bike will not walk away from you without a fight if you can carry your own. Just remember the Masterbike shootout was won with an Aprilia with a 120 RWHP. Your Gixxer still puts out at least 141-145 RWHP. Work on your riding skills, and you will discover what that bike can really do. MY TWO CENTS....

In two years my bikes look like a chewed piece of gum. The '04 10R being the lone exception. It is still one sexy little bitch. Grrrrrrrr I think I'll go hump it.
