Solution for numbing vibration on grips?

I just want to know if anybody experimented on replacing the stock grips. I was thinking if the Gel grips will actually make a difference in absorbing the vibration. One dude told me to fill up the handlebars with lead. What do you guys recommend? I have an 05' by the way....

heavier bar ends are known to help (similar idea to filling with lead, but probably more effective).

Thanx man. I will give the 699 a shot. What would be the best way of installing them. Do you use compressed air with grip glue, or regular spray paint?

You know i thought that was always the problem till i bought my 12r, that bike pretty much takes its own corners and handles so well, on my zx11 i did hold on tight but this bike is so smooth and easy to ride, its by far the best bike i have ever owned. ZX11 compared to the ZX12 is like riding in a beetle then riding in a BMW. I love my 11 dont get me wrong. Just night and day. The other gripsi wouldlike to try are the heated grips, anyone have any input on them.

get a pair of "Throttle meister " bar ends

come in two(2) styles
cruise control
& straight dummys.....no cruise
cost about the same

work great & are made as good as any aftermarket
accessory......will even improve the look if the bike

no less you can also expect some vibrations to go away
after several thousands of miles
& if & when you switch to a Good synthetic

good luck

All of the vibration I had when I got the bike, dissapeared when I put the Throttlemeisters on last year. Make sure you get the "Heavy/ polished" model.

use heavy bar ends or throttlemeister like the guys are saying.
I have the 699 grips. As nice as they are bar weights, or heavy bar sliders dampen way more vibration than the grip could ever hope to on its own!

For grip heaters get the ones for ATV's. They are thin elements that go on under your regular grips. You will end up with normal sized grips. There are heated grips available that are made into the grips but the grips are large diameter and and they are expensive (over $100 compared to $35 for the ATV grips). I have the grip heaters on my bike and and put them on all my future bikes.

I installed these bar ends today http://www.motovationusa.com/mvstore/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=140 but have not tested them out. These should help with the vibration.
