Is anyone drag racing a bone stock 06? Is it quicker than the 05 or slower?

I've taken my stocker (06) down the strip a few times... but I don't think my times will be all that helpfull. SIR in Tucson is 3100 ft above sea level on a -good- day, and I've seen effective altitude re4adings as high as 6500ft during some test and tunes.

That said, a not-quite-fully-broken-in 06 put down over 139mph of trap speed a few times at an effective 4100ft altitude. Track prep that night was miserable, and I couldn't manage a 60ft better than 1.91 without wheel-hop or tire spin.... which was a first for me on a completely stock street bike. A 10.51 @ 139.6 was the best I managed that day, but I know with a sticky track that those 60fts could dip deep into the 1.8s... maybe the 1.7s for someone with a bit more skill/bravery than I currently posses. The bike had -zero- mods (minus the NHRA mandated tether switch), and I weigh 195 with all my kit on. Now that it's been broken in fully (and I've gone a to a 16T on the front), I'll be happy to post a better time when the next test n' tune comes around.

Cheers
