upper throttle plate removal
Had to mention that removing the top thottle plates was big plus on my bike, an '06 with a PC. I live at 6000 elevation which softens the power up noticably so I figured it was worth trying just to see what happened. Well I dont need a dyno to tell me it hits a lot harder right off the bottom and well into the midrange. Havent tried realIy wringing it out yet on top yet, doing the mountain roads in New Mexico is a trip and the '10 is way overkill anyway. I have the Two Bros. vale map loaded with stock pipes but the cat cleaned out. No issues or tweaking considered yet, throttle response very smooth and strong but I could see where you might wind up on your ass with a quick hand at sea level. Thats the only reason I can think of why those upstream plates might have been put there in the first place. Might try to remove the bar that held the plates sometime in the future to clean up the flow even further. Thanks to those for sharing the idea.
