getting my 2006 ZX10r this weekend!!!!!
I live in central PA and am driving to Ohio to get my bike. I saved around $1300.00 doing it this way. Ohio sells the 06' zx10R for $10,199 and here it is 11,199, plus I had some fees didn't have to pay in ohio compared to here like the $145.00 settin the bike up fee and a few others. Its a 500 mile round trip but worth it. Total for the bike OHIO is 10,900 (tax, title, reg. fees). Here in PA total was 12,380 w/ (tax, title, reg. fees). I have noticed in a picture that there is a 1000 logo under the ninja symbol on the front sides of the bike. However on the normal new zx10r it doesn't come w/ that decal. Anyone know why ? guess get one made.

The first thing that came off my 04 was that ridiculous ninja decal. The 1000 stickers are a bitch to get off without porking the paint. I left them.

well got my bike home tonight. trailered it cause the weather here was iffy this morning w/ rain. I really wanted to ride it but better safe than sorry. So still sitting here in my garage w/ 0 miles on it and it is to rain again tomorrow one more day on and off. This is depressing, all I can do is stare at it. I do have one thing I noticed though and that is no handles on the back for the rear passanger. It makes moving the bike around difficult too cause there is nowhere there to put your hand on to support it. The only thing my step dad and I saw was the rear passanger seat has a strap on it. Not exactly impressive though. Any thoughts on this guys?

yea true... I took it out for the first time today. It wasn't the greatest of days but i couldn't just keep staring at it in my garage. When I got out on to the main street I opened it up some and was screaming and smiling the whole way for the next 2 hours I rode. I had everyone from young kids to older people checkin me out on this great ride. I'm in Love and want all to know. Ready to take it out again... LOL Just thought I'd spread the news that i'm sure you all have figured out by now. What a power difference from my 02 zx6r.. WOW

Hey Guys,
I just bought a 2006 Ten at Action Jet Sports here in Bradenton Fl: $10,000 plus Florida sales tax and $40 for title and tag transfer.
They have several more Tens. Ask for Jack, the owner.
Best wishes,
Dave
