OT kinda..Put your ego away

I had an opportunity to ride a Vespa last week. The owners of the Vespa dealership are good friends of mine and pretty much forced me to ride one. Wearing my Rx7rr and green gauntlet gloves I took out a brand new scooter to properly bed in the brakes (which I did very carefully, long may they live). Let me tell you it was a hoot. No wheelies, no speed, no contests of speed, no showing off, no worrying about a ticket. Just plain putting around. You can't believe how relaxing and fun it was. Don't get me wrong, I am happiest with flames spewing from my back tire, but there is something to just putting without a care in the world(well except for traffic). I would recommend to anyone ... go ride one, they are really a hoot.

Sounds like fun. Thats why I'm intriuged by the Kawasaki 650R, seems like a lot of fun and a lot less pucker factor. I plan on owning the ZX-14, '06 ZX-10R and the 650R one day. Have a bike for all occassions, oh to dream.

I'd like that combo too - so far I'm 1 for 3.

It is a different form of fun, where you take away the all the danger and speed and just enjoy the breeze.
