Wow I forgot what this bike is supposed to feel
I have been riding on smoked tires, There was tons of tread in the center but the edges were plain smoked. I kept using them because the roads here are still covered with sand and dirt, so why waste good tires? So riding this thing was interesting, the thing would get sideways in every corner you would gas it, and when you let off the bike would snap back and jerk around. Well I finally put the new tires on and what a difference, I was used to the sliding around and was thinking it was kinda normal. Wow I have to learn how to ride a bike with traction. It is so much easier to ride.

TedG!!!!!! You habve to keep good tires on your bike or you will be sideways in the corners
it might be fun to play for awhile but you know what can happen most of all with sand and gravel

If course I know about sand and gravel. But it is a fact of life around here and ride appropriately. But if I am going to be sliding around I may as well not burn up good tires doing it. Anyway it was fun. Also I am (was) a flat tracker and sliding around in the sand is second nature, Hmm I wonder why the left side of the tire wears out first?
