matching jacket/helmet for solar yellow?
Hi All,
I just bought a black 06 ZX-10R and then decided to purchase (the same day) an orange ZX-10R. This was so the black one would not get lonely.
Well I then ordered what I thought would be matching jackets from Icon, Kawasaki and Joe Rocket. also ordered a Shoei helmet with an orange theme, along with a seat cowl.
Now the trouble begins! Someone is color blind!
Oh my goodness!!! What I thought was Orange is really Solar Yellow? Seems there are no jackets, helmets or cowls to match this "Solar Yellow" color, not from Kawasaki, or anyone else. (Well there might be a helmet from a company other than Shoei, but with about 20 Shoei lids, I want to keep with Shoei).
No one at Kawasaki will offer any explanation or help with information about when or if gear will be available.
So I am thinking of taking a loss and trading for a green one.

Great advice, thanks! I just went down to the dealer and bought a black 06 CBR1000 to replace the solar yellow ZX-10

Sounds, like a load of crap to me. Anyone with that much spending money could just call up Shoei or any other gear company and have them MAKE custom gear.
