I remember reading there are bar risers and rear sets available for ZX-10R which might change ergonomics enough to suit ....do a search or find out to see...

+1 on the rearsets/risers idea
I'm 6'1", and the 06 pushes the limit of being uncomfortable on the legs (with your toes on the pegs, a size 13+ boot heel might actually touch your arse). The 05 felt a bit more roomy to me, but it's still no FJR

For the first time ever being a short arse has helped as i fit my 06 bike lovely with no probs with the pegs although yes they are still high. Being 5 feet 8 does have its advantages.

Im 6'2" and my 04 zx10 is slightly cramped I dont think you will be happy. If this is your first sport bike i would say no way. If your a skinny fella you might be ok.

"Ther is no way the 04/05 is more roomy "
non-sense
Reviews by many credible sources including magazine reviews say otherwise; it's all in your head to think 06 is roomier...but your entitled to believe what ya like... does not change anything really...

One of my chums is a short arsed kinda shape (5'5" tall, 5'5" wide) and he's had some custom rear sets made to lower the pegs on his 06 10R. He says it's way too uncomfortable otherwise.
He's also fitted a set of ajustable bars too.
I guess they just moved 'em all a bit too much. ;o)
