Muzzy that sucks!!!
Ok i am not a happy camper got my air shifter bracket made by muzzy and the damn thing rubs the frame where it connect to shift linkage. i thought it was supposed to work with stock rearsets! I called muzzy and they told i will have to make it work. since i only got the bracket and not the wholeair shifter kit. I say thats bull you should at least say in the avertisement that there you may have to make some modifactions to make the bracket work. Hey muzzy I like alot of the stuff you make but this is not cool. "Make it Work" heres a thought why dont you make it to work!!! for $89.96 i think it should as simple as bolting it on. I am done whining now.

bama10r- Since I have very little info there is not much I can say. If you are using the bracket kit on the same bike that we designed it for I can only assume there is something different in the rest of the parts you are using. We use the same brackets in our shift kits with no problems. We decided to sell the brackets separate because we had so many requests. There is no way that we can know what other parts you are using. If the shift ram is considerably different from the one in our kit, it could be causing your problem. If you would e mail a picture showing the problem we will make every effort to help you. If the product won't work for your application you are welcome to return it.

Damn nice offer there Mr. Muzzy If we all stood behind our products like Glock does their's the world would be a better place. Mr. Muzzy just took a step in that direction in front of the whole world.

Mr. Muzzy thanks for the repsonse, I have an 04 zx10r and the bracket mounts fine to the engine but the other part that connect to the shifter linkage rubs the frame. I have the stock rearsets and the shift ram has nothing to do with the issue, even without ram connected it rubs there just not enough clearance between linkage and frame to put the linkage connecter. I will take pics when i get home then i will break out the old side grinder and MAKE IT WORK thanks for the offer to return but iam going to track tomorrow and i need it just left dyno yesterday. I put the muzzy nitrous kit on which i love makes good power so this be my first time running it on the gas. thanks again.

bama10r- I think I have found the problem. Early early 04 ZX-10's have a different shift arm. Our bracket will not work with that shift arm. Kawasaki changed to a shift arm with more offset early in 04. Our bracket was designed to work with the offset shift arm. We have had one other customer with this problem. The options are replace your shift arm with the updated one, or return the bracket kit. Sorry for the inconvenience. We have noted this in the instructions of future bracket kits.

hey fish-antlers if you go and look on the kawi parts site look under gear change you'll find that they have a VIN breakdown. they also changed what think is the detent spring. I wonder if the new lever will work with the old spring.
